Working with the PBS System
The course will specifically provide you with the following:
- Show each of the categories that fall into each of the tiers under the system
- Explanation of the relevant requirement and what is in force and when it came into force
- Overview of the conditions/requirements and checks
- The rights of appeal
- Explaining the sponsorship and duties and requirements of the sponsors
- Enforcement and penalties for breach
- Migration and dependants rights
Nationality Law
The course will specifically provide you with the following:
- The knowledge tests and civil partnerships
- Naturalisation
- Application for naturalisation
- Policies for children
- The Nationality Law and British Citizenship
- Appeal rights and Review
Visa applications and Appeals (Entry Clearance)
This course is to prepare Entry Clearance Applications more effectively and to provide an overview of the relevant considerations that ECO’s take into consideration
- General grounds for refusal and re-entry bans
- Preparing an application properly – what documents are needed, time scale,, what leads to refusal, lodging an application
- Preparing and presenting an appeal
- Evidence relevant to entry clearance and appeals
Administrative review/Application for review/reconsideration – procedure and practice
- To understand the basic principles of the review procedure and practice
- Identify legal issues
- Knowing and understanding the procedure for a reconsideration and or a review
- Overview of PBS – rights and reviews
- Tier 4 appeals (in country) and AR’s
